#Real Review: Spilling Every Detail About Vivrelle Handbag Rentals

When I first moved to New York City and began attending fashion events, I was astounded by how everyone dressed to the nines for every occasion. What, however, impressed me the most? There were zero outfits repeating... at least what I could notice so far.

I couldn't help but notice many of my colleagues wearing new designer bags with every single outfit, and after several months in the game, I soon found their secret. Now it's time to share my knowledge with all other luxury fashionistas by providing an unbiased Vivrelle review. Let's get started, shall we?

How Did I Discover Vivrelle?

Armoire membership was a lifesaver for me when it came to always having a fresh outfit. It wasn't just an issue of keeping up with my colleagues; I loved being able to try on new looks without having to commit to buying them only to have them sit in my closet forever and ever.

Even so, while Armoire and RTR had some nice items, the term "runway" was only loosely defined in the sense of brands available. I had my heart set on, Fendi baguettes, quilted Chanel, and Goyard totes!

I considered splurging on occasion, but three factors always kept me from doing so. Initially, my preference was ever-changing, and I never discovered a bag I could justify purchasing knowing I wouldn't love it forever.

Second, I didn't want to spend my entire savings on one handbag when others had dozens from which to choose. Third, I didn't have a spare $5,000 lying around to spend on a handbag. Does this sound familiar? I realized I wasn't the only one experiencing this first-world problem.

Then I came across Vivrelle. Vivrelle is a club that allows members to borrow/rent handbags, designer and diamond jewelry, and even accessories plucked directly from influencers' closets. This was how everyone I knew appeared to have a new bag every few weeks—they just borrowed a piece, wore it on a few occasions, posed for Instagram photos, and then traded it for a different bag when they were done with it.

I was surprised! How could I have heard about Rent The Runway but not Vivrelle?!

Price Tags With Vivrelle

Again, I'm not in a position to spend hundreds of dollars on a purse right now, but getting to carry one for just a few weeks was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This style-and-swap strategy of borrowing bags might quickly become addicting, especially if you appreciate switching up your look as frequently as I do.

It's no surprise that many individuals in the fashion business like Vivrelle. It's true—if you're going to buy and use one bag again for the rest of your life, it's better to save up and buy it rather than pay a monthly rental cost. But, if you're like me and desire a different look on a regular basis, renting bags is the ideal alternative.

So, let's talk about pricing. Vivrelle has three levels of membership:

CLASSIQUE

Classique costs $99 per month and allows you to borrow one item with a market cost of less than $4,000. This is very cheap and lets you enjoy a basic range of handbags. In my genuine opinion, I found this very beginner friendly for anybody on a tight budget and still wanted to switch up their looks while navigating their path in the thrifting/renting world.

COUTURE

Upgrade to Couture for $199 a month for anything over $4,000, along with unique and limited-run pieces (like my snatched Fendi beauties). I think it’s a pretty decent price for the quality you’re getting when it comes to the jewelry and bag collection.

COUTURE+

Couture+ will charge you $279 per month if you're a big spender, and you'll be able to rent 2 things at once, one from the Classique collection and another from the Couture collection. Of course, since this is Couture+, you’ll notice a major shift in the quality and collection of items you’ll be availing.

You don't have to exchange every month, by the way. If you adore a bag enough that you would like to keep it for the entire season, you can! Vivrelle is perfect for someone who desires a regular change of scenery, but then who says you can't rent a piece for 60 days and then realize you enjoy it so much you want to buy it?

Collection

HANDBAGS

Vivrelle has a large and excellent selection of handbags. With styles spanning from bags to totes to handbags to minis, Vivrelle has it simple to get the bag you want. Prada, Balenciaga, Fendi, and Dior are among the top brands available at Vivrelle.

When you click on a bag, you can really see details such as its material, size, availability, and anticipated retail price. If the handbag you want is out of stock, you can consider signing up for notifications to be notified when it becomes available!

JEWELRY

Vivrelle is known not just for her handbags, but also for her gorgeous jewelry. Any membership grants you access to the company's superb collection, which includes Hermes, Louis Vuitton, YSL, and Chanel designers.

Of course, the tough aspect is determining whether the jewelry, such as a ring, would fit. Vivrelle does not specify the size of the jewelry; instead, they provide pictures of the ring against common objects for scale.

PROS OF VIVRELLE

I’m personally a fan of putting information neatly into a yes and no category. In other words, I like to be able to put a pros and cons list to them. So I did it with Vivrelle as well! Here are some pros of Vivrelle that do the trick for me:

No return dates

Oh, you want to keep the bag with you for a bit? No worries because there are no return dates on Vivrelle rentals. You can keep the item for as long as you need and whenever you’re ready to swap, you can.

This is an amazing benefit of Vivrelle, especially for people who tend to have spontaneous events and vacations that aren’t time constricted. So you don’t have to stress about late charges or any of that jazz. All while sporting only the best of jewelry and handbags.

Quick services

If you want to return or have your deliveries on time, you can rely on Vivrelle for all of that. They offer super quick deliveries and services which is amazing to see from a renting platform. Oftentimes, customer service isn’t as amazing when you’re looking at the thrifting part of the world.

So for me, this is another hit when it comes to Vivrelle and puts the company on the top of my favorite sites to look for accessories that outshine everybody else. How can anybody not love this?

Cons Of Vivrelle

Memberships can be expensive

Now if you were looking for something that didn’t cost a minimum of 100 dollars, Vivrelle can be disappointing. You see the nicest possible collection of the bags you definitely want in your wardrobe but they’re costing more than what you budgeted for your thrifting.

So the memberships can definitely be a bit much for newbies or beginners but for what it’s worth, getting my hands on the luxury collection was definitely worth the price of the membership for me.

No unlimited renting options

Now when you pay memberships for Vivrelle, you still only get a limited amount of rentals available. Except for Couture+, both memberships let you have only one luxury bag which can be a real deal breaker after you spend at least a hundred dollars on it.

Even with Couture+, you can only get your hands on 2 bags. So if you want to go on a vacation to France with a nice collection of bags to fit with every outfit and never be a repeater, this can feel quite disappointing. Because of this, many customers flee to other brands that offer a wider range of renting options so they can fill up their wardrobe once with a handful of bags.

Standout Points About Vivrelle

Many people simply adore Vivrelle and how easy it is to rent highly desirable accessories. Here are some noteworthy comments on Vivrelle from how much I’ve been playing around with it:

Vivrelle made it so simple to wear fashionable items without spending a fortune on them.

It's incredibly easy to be able to change things when you want to experiment with something new, but you can also keep an item if you love it.

If an item is in high demand, renting it can be challenging because it is first come, first served.

Final Verdict On Vivrelle

While I enjoy a good sale or a thrift store find just like the next gal, I must admit that when I see a luxury handbag that ticks all of my boxes, my eyes light up. A piece that makes us feel unique, luxurious, and lovely. Still, while my personal style grows and I enjoy experimenting with fashion, I don't see the need in limiting myself (and drain my money) by splurging on a single designer item.

If you're in a similar situation and want to look into your choices, Vivrelle is a big yes in my book. Borrowing has replaced purchasing, and I’m not jealous of others who have new purses every few weeks. I know the secret and I’ve spilled it here with you guys so we can all have an unlimited fashion style.
