Rented Thrifted Real started as an anonymous fashion comedy account by Jewel Elizabeth. On INSTAGRAM, Jewel would post her daily outfits rented by Rent the Runway, and the silly little New York things she’d do in those outfits. As the account grew, she started reviewing all kinds of fashion, jewelry and handbag rental services and giving tips on thrifting in your favorite town. She now also reviews new items, secondhand shopping sites and partners with various sustainable brands to help you look good while feeling good about your carbon footprint.
RentedThriftedReal.com is the place where all of these passions now live. Blog posts drop every Wednesday, focusing on a new style steal, discount code, sustainable fashion service, rental program or general fashion tips.

My name is Jewel S. Elizabeth (Real name! Real person!), and it’s so nice to meet you. 🙋♀️🙋♀️ I’m a New Yorker by birth, grew up in the South, and have also lived in London and Paris.
